Painting the Night – Inspired by Van Gogh’s The Starry Night

Students will explore Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night to understand how color, texture, and movement express emotion. They will analyze the painting’s historical context, learn Post-Impressionist techniques, and create their own “Starry Night”–inspired artwork that captures personal feelings through the sky.
