1/2 c butter softened
1/4 c honey
1/4 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Cream Cheese Frosting:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 c butter, softened
2 c powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350
Combine and mix softened butter, honey, vanilla, and powdered sugar in a small bowl until thoroughly mixed and set aside.
Cup off the tops of the 12pk of King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls forming one large sandwich
Spread the honey butter generously on both sides of the rolls previously cut
Sprinkle the ground cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly on top of the honey-butter
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes let rolls cool before adding frosting
Making the frosting:
Combine cream cheese and butter and mix until smooth.
Next, add vanilla extract and slowly mix in powdered sugar until the frosting is a thick and creamy consistency
Adding the frosting mixture Spread frosting on top of the cinnamon/honey-butter as a “filling” to your slider, then replace the tops of the rolls. Add the final layer of frosting on the top of the rolls
**(Optional) sprinkle with cinnamon sugar***
Cut and enjoy!
