

OUR MISSION
Restoration Hope is dedicated to fostering hope and healing for youth in urgent need of emergency housing through a comprehensive transitional mentorship program. We serve young people displaced by foster care, juvenile court involvement, or challenging school environments by providing trauma-informed support, faith-based counseling, life skills education, and career training. Our mission is to empower each participant to build resilience, achieve independence, and pursue a brighter future in a safe, nurturing environment.

Leslie Robertson
President & Chief Executive Director
Leslie is a Certified Trainer and Certified Curriculum Developer with over 15 years of experience in customer service and management. She is CPA-trained through the Iowa Department of Revenue and holds a degree in Business Administration. A licensed foster parent with MAPP training, Leslie has also served as a Director of Children’s Ministry. Her leadership blends business expertise with a deep passion for mentoring and empowering youth.

Laverne Grafton
Project Manager Director & Secretary
Laverne holds degrees in Tax Preparation, Bookkeeping, and a Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship. She also earned a Master’s in Educational/Instructional Technology. With over 25 years in management and customer service, Laverne brings exceptional organizational and operational skills. In addition to her administrative expertise, she is the owner of an online clothing boutique, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit.

Jerrod Manning
Vice President
Jerrod is the Pastor of New Destiny Ministry Center and founded the ministry in 2005. With 20 years of experience in ministry and counseling, Jerrod’s leadership is rooted in faith, compassion, and a commitment to community transformation. He is also a published author and passionate advocate for personal growth and spiritual development.

Carolyn Roberts
Board Member
Carolyn is a retired nurse with a strong background in caregiving and education. She has served as a teacher assistant, offering her skills in both healthcare and academic support. Carolyn’s nurturing spirit and dedication to service make her a valued contributor to our mission.

Joe Hogan
Board Member
Joe is a retired microbiologist with a heart for outreach. He actively serves in prison ministry, offering hope, guidance, and encouragement to those seeking a fresh start. His scientific background and compassionate nature bring a unique perspective to our team.

Chandra Manning
Education Director
Chandra serves as the Day school Administrator and Activity Director at New Destiny Ministry Center. With extensive experience in curriculum development and program coordination, she also oversees kitchen operations. Chandra’s commitment to creating structured, engaging, and nurturing environments ensures that every participant has the tools to succeed.
